Paris Design Week; An international event

Coming up this autumn is the fourth and largest Paris Design Week so far. Rapidly acquiring an international reputation, this all embracing event has become the essential item on the design calendar and takes over the entire city for an eight day spectacular from September 6th to 13th, featuring the cream of the sector’s talent. At the Résidence le Prince Régent we can provide you with a conveniently central location so that you can easily reach the various locations in which aspects of the event will be taking place.

Highlighting the creative energy of Paris

Paris Design Week runs in tandem with the Maison & Objet design fair taking place at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre. This show will host hundreds of exhibitors from across the globe, with installations and displays highlighting the latest design trends.

As well as major presentations by large brands citywide, the week will also feature ‘Now! Le Off’, in which up and coming new designers will be in the spotlight. Here’s your chance to get in on the ground floor with the hot design talents of tomorrow.

More than 200 venues dotted around the city will throw open their doors to visitors, including galleries, stores, hotels and restaurants. The Cité de la Mode et du Design, in its contemporary Seine-side location will showcase established brands such as Citroen and Ora-Ito alongside new design labels. Some participants are design houses such as Cassina, Colette and the Conran Shop, art galleries La Galerie Joseph and La Fondation Cartier and the Paris College of Art.
